If you’re on the hunt for unique, local art, in Teignmouth, you’re in the right place. I’m Becky, the artist behind Slick Oils, and I create original abstract and ink paintings inspired by the colours, textures and ever-changing moods of the Devon coastline.
I’m lucky to live and work right here by the sea in Teignmouth, where the waves, skies and beaches fuel my creativity daily. You’ll see hints of local sunsets, shimmering tides and coastal walks in my pieces, whether it’s in the deep inky blues or soft pastel hues. (Unless I'm working on special projects like on the left!)
When I’m not in my studio, (or my full time job as a Marketing Director!) you’ll often find my work popping up at local exhibitions and art fairs around South Devon. In fact, I’ve proudly won Best Painting at two of these events. It’s a great way to connect with other creatives and art lovers, and I always love meeting new people who share a passion for beautiful, original pieces.
